Club PIO Linda Harshbarger, KC9GCH has forwarded a copy of the new Federal Register in regards to the new Part 97 rules and regulations, due to take effect on 15 December 2006. I've attached it here, pending a more permanent inclusion in our website.

Also, Club Historian Paul Hice, AA9GY is working on a major project. Thanks to the help and generosity of several long time members, he has amassed a fairly complete collection of Spark Gap newsletters, dating back to the 1980's. Paul has started the daunting task of digitizing these issues. What does that mean to you? Imagine being able to review past issues from your computer at your leisure. You would no longer have to rely on others to give you the past history of our club, piecemeal. You would be able to get it yourself. You can follow the club from its early history, month by month.

Thanks to Paul for undertaking this daunting task, and thanks to those that donated newsletters for Paul to digitize. I'll be talking with the club in a month or so regarding updating our web service to accommodate these newsletters, and add further features.
